The GJFZY53(FR) drop cable is the industrial-grade member of the bow-type family: 250 µm fibers sit in jelly-filled loose tubes inside a round drop profile, protected by a 53 armor package and finished with a flame-retardant (FR) sheath.
Where a standard butterfly drop cable would be crushed or gnawed, this build survives: 400/1000 N tensile ratings, a heavy armor package and weights from 239 to 277 kg/km across 12 to 96 fibers. The FR sheath keeps smoke and halogen emissions low for factory floors, tunnels and public buildings.
On this site GJFZY53(FR) completes the drop family: GJXH/GJFXH for standard FTTH drops, GJYXCH for self-supporting aerial runs, and this build for industrial and campus routes where armor and flame retardance are required. Bending radii of 10D/20D keep it manageable in tight trays.
Product Features
Industrial armor — 53 armor package resists crush and rodent loads on factory and campus routes.
Flame-retardant sheath — FR compound keeps smoke and halogen output low in public and industrial spaces.
High counts for a drop — 12-96 fibers serve industrial campuses in one cable.
Round drop profile — robust circular build handles rough handling better than flat butterfly drops.
Water blocking — gel-filled tubes block longitudinal water ingress.
Tight bending — 10D/20D radii suit trays, cabinets and short closure stubs.
Typical Applications
Factory floors and workshops where standard drop cable gets crushed; tunnels, metros and public buildings that require low smoke and zero halogen; campus inter-building drops that cross gardens and service roads; and equipment rooms where the drop enters through rodent-exposed cable trays.
Selection and ordering
Order by fiber count (12-96), sheath (FR standard, LSZH optional) and length. Send the route type and entry method so the armor class matches; pre-connectorized ends and breakout kits are available on request.
Packaging, delivery and support
Cables are supplied on standard wooden reels (2530, 4056 or 610 types) with embossed meter marks every meter and desiccant-packed ends; GJFZY53(FR) reel lengths follow the quotation and can be split to match splice-point spacing. Every reel ships with a factory test report covering attenuation, OTDR traces and geometric checks. As a Dongguan factory with 20,000+ m2 of production space we support OEM and ODM branding, neutral packaging, third-party inspection before loading, and consolidation with the patch cords, splitters and ODF hardware on this site in one container. Sample lengths are available for qualification, and our engineers review pulling plans, splice schedules and closure layouts free of charge before dispatch. Typical lead time is two to three weeks for standard builds and four to five weeks for span-engineered or OEM-branded orders, with photos and loading records sent before every container leaves the factory.

GJFZY53(FR) industrial armored drop cable: 12-96 fibers, 239-277 kg/km, 400/1000 N, LSZH flame-retardant sheath, 10D/20D for factory routes.
Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.
Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.
Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
