Maintenance-Friendly Sliding Drawer Smooth drawer slide mechanism allows
convenient access for fiber splicing, cable management, and maintenance.
This rack-mounted patch panel provides the patching interface between incoming backbone fibre and active equipment in a 19-inch cabinet. The sliding tray is the defining feature: it pulls forward out of the rack so that the rear adapters can be reached without removing the panel or disturbing the fibres already routed to it, which is what makes it practical in a cabinet that is already populated.
The panel is formed from cold-rolled steel with a powder-coated finish and fits the 19-inch EIA rack standard in 1U to 4U heights. Inside, a sliding drawer carries the adapter panel and the fibre storage area; the drawer travels on steel rails and stops at a fixed extension so the fibre cannot be over-flexed. Front adapters accept SC, LC, FC or ST in UPC or APC polish, and the adapter panel is removable so the port configuration can be changed later.
The sliding tray earns its cost wherever the rack is deep or already cabled — being able to reach the rear adapters from the front turns a two-person job into a one-person job. Where the panel will rarely be touched after installation, a fixed panel is cheaper and slightly more rigid. Size the port count for the fibre you expect rather than the fibre you are terminating today, and specify the polish to match the link: UPC for data, APC for CATV or any analogue overlay.
What does the sliding mechanism do? It extends the tray forward out of the rack so the rear adapters and splices can be accessed from the front without removing the panel or disturbing installed fibres.
Can I change the connector type later? Yes — the adapter panel is removable, so SC, LC, FC or ST panels can be swapped without replacing the enclosure.
Do you supply it pre-loaded? Panels can ship empty, with adapters fitted, or fully assembled with pigtails spliced — tell us the port count and connector type for a quote.

Values are typical reference data taken from the official Huifiber datasheet. Confirm the final specification against the datasheet before ordering.
Wholesale sliding rack mount fiber optic patch panels from Huifiber. Easy-drawer design for convenient fiber management, splicing, and distribution.
Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.
Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.
Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
