KEY FEATURES & APPLICATIONS
Bend-Insensitive OM2 Fiber: Ensures minimal signal attenuation
under tight bends, ideal for high-density patch panels and compact cable routing.
Multiple Jacket Fire Ratings: Available in OFCR Riser, LSZH
(Low Smoke Zero Halogen), and OFNP Plenum options to meet international building safety codes.
High Tensile Load Capacity: Robust construction withstands up
to 225N short-term tensile force, ensuring reliable pulling during installation.
Low Insertion Loss: Precision LC/UPC connectors deliver low
insertion loss (≤0.3dB) and high return loss (>30dB) for dependable 1G/10G network links.
A duplex LC-to-LC assembly on OM2 50/125 µm multimode fibre, supplied as a standard 1.25 mm small-form-factor cord. OM2 remains the dominant multimode grade in existing LAN and campus cabling, so this is the cord most often used to patch OM2 panels into switches, media converters and fibre NICs.
The assembly uses two OM2 multimode fibres in a zip-cord jacket with a 2.0 mm or 3.0 mm outer diameter, terminated with 1.25 mm ceramic ferrules in LC/UPC housings. The LC latch is moulded for repeated access in high-density patch panels, and the duplex clip holds the pair at the 6.25 mm pitch required by SFP and SFP+ transceiver spacing.
OM2 is a 1G-grade fibre. It will carry 10G, but only to roughly 82 m, so if the link exceeds that distance specify OM3 or OM4 instead. Because OM2 and OM3 share the same 50 µm core, the two can be mated without a modal problem, but mixing grades on one link caps performance at the lower grade. For panel work, order the polarity you need — A-to-B is standard for duplex LC, and reversing it in the field requires re-terminating rather than re-pinning.
Can you supply this assembly in custom lengths and colours? Yes. Huifiber builds patch cords to order in any length from 0.5 m to 50 m, with a choice of jacket colour, boot type and printing. Send us the connector pair, fiber type and length and we will confirm the price within 48 hours.
Do you provide test reports? Yes. Every batch ships with insertion loss and return loss test data, and we can supply an interferometric end-face report for single-mode assemblies on request.
What is the minimum order quantity? Standard configurations ship from 100 pieces. Mixed-model orders can be combined to reach the MOQ.

Values are typical reference data taken from the official Huifiber datasheet. Confirm the final specification against the datasheet before ordering.
Buy high quality LC/UPC to LC/UPC Duplex OM2 multimode fiber patch cord with 50/125μm bend-insensitive fiber from Huifiber.
Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.
Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.
Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
