Product Features:
19-inch standard rack design with high capacity, high density, and modular construction.
Integrates fiber splicing, storage, and distribution into a single unit, enabling efficient management of each module with easy rack-mounted installation and movement.
Ensures organized routing and management of optical fibers, pigtails, and patch cords.
Suitable for high-capacity FTTx distribution and splitter points.
Pre-installed splitter modules for easy and efficient optical splitting.
The Optical Distribution Frame is the point where outside-plant fibre is terminated, spliced and then distributed to active equipment. Huifiber supplies 19-inch rack-mounted ODF units from 12 to 144 ports, together with the modular splice subrack and cassette system that lets a frame be built out incrementally as a network grows.
The frame is formed from cold-rolled steel with a powder-coated finish and is built to the 19-inch EIA rack standard with 1U, 2U, 3U and 4U heights. Inside, a sliding splice tray holds the fusion splices and a separate storage area takes the excess pigtail, keeping the bend radius above the 30 mm minimum that single-mode fibre needs. Front-panel adapters can be SC, LC, FC or ST, in UPC or APC polish, and the adapter panel is removable so that ports can be added without disturbing adjacent terminations.
Size the frame for the fibre count you expect in two years rather than the count you are terminating today, because swapping a 1U frame for a 3U frame later means disturbing every splice in it. Choose APC polish wherever the link carries CATV or video overlay, since the ≥60 dB return loss of APC is what keeps the analogue signal clean; UPC is adequate for straight data. If the frame will be patched frequently, specify sliding trays and front-accessible adapters — the labour saved on the second visit pays for the difference.
What is the difference between an ODF and a patch panel? An ODF is designed to terminate and splice outside-plant cable as well as distribute it, so it includes splice trays and fibre storage; a patch panel only provides a patching interface between two already-terminated cables.
Can I add ports later? Yes. The adapter panel is removable and the frame is modular, so additional cassettes and adapters can be fitted without re-terminating existing fibres.
Do you supply the frame pre-loaded? Frames can be shipped empty, with adapters fitted, or fully assembled with pigtails terminated and spliced — tell us the port count and connector type and we will quote each option.

Values are typical reference data taken from the official Huifiber datasheet. Confirm the final specification against the datasheet before ordering.

Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.
Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.
Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
