  • MGTSV Stranded Loose Tube Mining Cable with Flame-Retardant Sheath

Product Description

The structure of the MGTSV optical cable involves encasing 250 μm

optical fibers into loose tubes made of high-modulus material, which are

filled with a waterproof compound. The center of the cable core features

a metallic central strength member (a layer of Polyethylene / PE is extruded

over the central metallic strength member for certain fiber counts). The loose

tubes (and filler rods) are stranded around the central strength member into a

compact and circular cable core. The interstitial gaps within the cable core

are filled with water-blocking compound. After a double-sided plastic-coated

steel tape (PSP) is longitudinally applied, a flame-retardant outer sheath is

extruded to form the final cable.

Product Features

Superior Mechanical & Thermal Performance Delivers outstanding mechanical protection

against tension/ crushing and maintains stable performance across wide temperature ranges.

Anti-Shrinkage Structure Design Specially engineered compact cable structure effectively

prevents loose tube retraction under environmental stresses.

Hydrolysis Resistance & High Strength Loose tube materials feature excellent hydrolysis

resistance properties and high mechanical strength for long service life.

Excellent Crush Resistance & Flexibility Provides robust crush resistance to withstand

heavy underground mining loads while retaining necessary cable flexibility.

Critical Fiber Protection Jelly Loose tubes are filled with specialized waterproofing

compound to offer essential, long-term protection for the optical fibers.

Flame-Retardant Outer Sheath Outer sheath is crafted from specialized flame-retardant materials,

ensuring superior fire safety compliance in underground mining environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the MGTSV Flame Retardant Stranded Loose Tube Mining Optical Cable used for?

MGTSV flame-retardant stranded loose tube mining optical cable for underground networks. Gel-filled tubes, steel tape armour, 4 to 96 cores, OEM printing.

Can Huifiber customise the MGTSV Flame Retardant Stranded Loose Tube Mining Optical Cable?

Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.

How is the MGTSV Flame Retardant Stranded Loose Tube Mining Optical Cable tested before shipment?

Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.

What should I send for a MGTSV Flame Retardant Stranded Loose Tube Mining Optical Cable quotation?

Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
