Central Loose Tube Cables

  • GYFXTY Flat Non-Metallic Central Tube Aerial Cable

Product Description

The structure of the GYFXTY flat optical cable is formed by housing 250μm optical fibers

inside a loose tube made of high-modulus material, which is filled with a waterproof compound.

Two parallel non-metallic FRP strength members are placed on both sides of the loose tube,

followed by an extruded Polyethylene (PE) outer sheath to form the flat optical cable structure.

As a lightweight outdoor flat optical cable for telecommunications, GYFXTY features a compact

outer diameter, enabling easy construction. Its mechanical performance, electrical properties,

and environmental resistance fully meet national and industry standards. It is suitable for

non-self-supporting aerial installation, duct/pipe laying, tunnel deployment, short-span self-supporting

aerial installation, and environments exposed to severe electromagnetic hazards.

Product Features

All-Dielectric Structure Completely non-metallic design, providing immunity to lightning strikes

and strong electromagnetic interference (EMI).

High Tensile Strength Two parallel FRP strength members ensure exceptional anti-tensile capacity

and mechanical stability.

Hydrolysis-Resistant Loose Tube The loose tube material features high strength and excellent resistance

to hydrolysis for long-term optical protection.

Special Water-Blocking Filling Jelly The loose tube is filled with a specialized gel, delivering

critical waterblocking protection to the optical fibers.

Compact Bending Radius & Space Saving Flat profile design offers a smaller bending radius

compared to round optical cables, significantly saving installation space.

Lightweight & Easy Deployment Small outer diameter and lightweight construction ensure

low friction and easy field installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the GYFXTY Non-Metallic Flat Central Loose Tube Fiber used for?

GYFXTY is a non-metallic flat central loose tube cable with FRP strength members, designed for aerial and duct routes where lightning immunity matters.

Can Huifiber customise the GYFXTY Non-Metallic Flat Central Loose Tube Fiber?

Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.

How is the GYFXTY Non-Metallic Flat Central Loose Tube Fiber tested before shipment?

Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.

What should I send for a GYFXTY Non-Metallic Flat Central Loose Tube Fiber quotation?

Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
