Product Description
The structure of GYDTA/S optical cable is formed by inserting 6, 12, or 24 core fiber
ribbons into loose tubes made of high-modulus material, which are filled with a
waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a metallic central
strength member; for certain fiber counts, a layer of Polyethylene (PE) is extruded
over the metallic strength member. The loose tubes and filler rods are stranded around
the central strength member into a compact and circular cable core. Interstices within
the cable core are filled with water-blocking compound. Finally, an Aluminum Polyethylene
Laminate (APL) tape or Corrugated Steel Tape (PSP) is longitudinally applied before extruding
a Polyethylene (PE) outer sheath.
Product Features
Excellent Mechanical & Temperature Performance: High tensile/crush resistance and stable operation
across wide temperature ranges.
pecial Fiber Protection Compound: Loose tubes are filled with special compound to provide critical,
long-term protection for optical fibers.
High-Density Splicing Efficiency: Multiple fibers per ribbon enable batch mass splicing, reducing
splicing time and labor costs.
Anti-Shrinkage Cable Design: Specially designed compact cable structure effectively prevents
loose tube shrinkage.
High-Strength Loose Tube Material: Loose tubes feature high hydrolysis resistance
and high mechanical strength
Convenient Maintenance & Repair: Ribbon fiber structure simplifies cable maintenance,
troubleshooting, and emergency repairs.

Values are typical reference data taken from the official Huifiber datasheet. Confirm the final specification against the datasheet before ordering.
Huifiber GYDTA/S stranded ribbon optical cable features high-density fiber ribbon structure for fast mass splicing, high tensile strength.
Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.
Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.
Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
