The GYDXTW cable packs ribbon fiber into a central tube: 12-fiber ribbons are stacked inside a jelly-filled unitube core, so 72 to 288 fibers fit into a compact round profile that splices in mass-fusion groups of twelve.
A PSP steel tape and two parallel steel wires protect the core, with a PE sheath outside — the same protection philosophy as the GYXTW small-count build, scaled up to ribbon densities. Tensile ratings of 600/1500 N and 10D/20D bending radii keep duct installation straightforward even at 288 fibers.
GYDXTW answers a different question from the GYDXTW photoelectric composite already on this site: this build is pure fiber, for high-count access and metro routes where ribbon splicing speed and core compactness matter more than copper conductors.
Product Features
Ribbon density — 12-fiber ribbon stacks fit 72-288 fibers into one compact central tube.
Mass fusion splicing — ribbon splicers close 12 fibers per arc, cutting splice time on big routes.
PSP protection — steel tape armor resists crush and rodent loads in duct and buried sections.
Compact core — unitube ribbon design keeps the outer diameter small for the fiber count.
Water blocking — jelly-filled tube and tape interlayer stop longitudinal ingress.
Duct friendly — 600/1500 N tensile and 10D/20D radii suit occupied duct pulls.
Typical Applications
Metro ring upgrades that need 100+ fibers in one duct; access aggregation routes feeding multiple splitters or OLTs; data-hall interconnects where ribbon mass-fusion splicing cuts termination time; and rehabilitation jobs replacing several small-count cables with one ribbon build.
Selection and ordering
Order by fiber count (72-288), fiber type (G.652D, G.657A2 or OM3/OM4 ribbon) and reel length. Mass-fusion splice plans, pre-connectorized ribbon fan-outs and sub-duct packages are available on request.
Packaging, delivery and support
Cables are supplied on standard wooden reels (2530, 4056 or 610 types) with embossed meter marks every meter and desiccant-packed ends; GYDXTW reel lengths follow the quotation and can be split to match splice-point spacing. Every reel ships with a factory test report covering attenuation, OTDR traces and geometric checks. As a Dongguan factory with 20,000+ m2 of production space we support OEM and ODM branding, neutral packaging, third-party inspection before loading, and consolidation with the patch cords, splitters and ODF hardware on this site in one container. Sample lengths are available for qualification, and our engineers review pulling plans, splice schedules and closure layouts free of charge before dispatch. Typical lead time is two to three weeks for standard builds and four to five weeks for span-engineered or OEM-branded orders, with photos and loading records sent before every container leaves the factory.

GYDXTW ribbon central tube cable: 72-288 fibers in ribbon format, 600/1500 N, PSP armored PE sheath for high-count access and metro routes.
Yes. Huifiber supplies cable under the buyer's own brand as well as under the Huifiber brand. Fibre count, jacket material, jacket print, drum marking, drum length, packaging and datasheet layout can all be produced to the customer's requirement, and the engineering team can work from a customer specification or adapt an existing construction to a new route requirement.
Every production batch is tested before it leaves the plant in Dongguan. Attenuation and geometry are measured on OTDR and optical bench equipment, and mechanical performance is verified against the datasheet for the construction. A factory test report is issued with each shipment, so an incoming inspection can be checked against the same numbers.
Send the fibre count and fibre type, the jacket material or fire rating, the route length or span and the drum length you need, the destination port or country, and any certification or test-report requirement. With those details the sales engineer can confirm the construction and return a quotation with an indicative lead time.
