The ABC-IIS access cable is a lightweight aerial bundled build: 250 µm fibers sit in jelly-filled loose tubes covered by an aramid yarn strength layer, then a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant sheath.

There is no metal anywhere in the cable: the aramid layer carries the 200/660 N aerial loads, and the LSZH sheath keeps smoke and toxicity low where the cable passes buildings, campuses or public areas. At 42-54 kg/km it is one of the lightest aerial builds in this portfolio, which keeps pole and wall attachments simple.

ABC-IIS serves access and in-campus routes: short aerial spans, building-to-building links and rural access lines where a heavy figure-8 cable is overkill. The cable complies with YD/T 1770, ICEA-596, GR-409, IEC 60794 and the IEC 332-1/-3C flame tests.

Typical Applications

Building-to-building aerial links on campuses; rural access lines where poles exist but spans are short; in-plant overhead routes above production halls; and any route where an LSZH flame rating and an all-dielectric build are both mandatory. It is also the build of choice for temporary event links and exhibition halls, where cables are installed overhead for days or weeks and removed without trace, and for rooftop routes between buildings where a metal messenger would create a grounding obligation.

Selection and ordering

Order by fiber count (2-24) and span length. Send the attachment type and span so the aramid margin matches; colored jackets and pre-connectorized ends are available on request.

Packaging, delivery and support

Cables are supplied on standard wooden reels (2530, 4056 or 610 types) with embossed meter marks every meter and desiccant-packed ends; ABC-IIS reel lengths follow the quotation and can be split to match splice-point spacing. Every reel ships with a factory test report covering attenuation, OTDR traces and geometric checks. As a Dongguan factory with 20,000+ m2 of production space we support OEM and ODM branding, neutral packaging, third-party inspection before loading, and consolidation with the patch cords, splitters and ODF hardware on this site in one container. Sample lengths are available for qualification, and our engineers review pulling plans, splice schedules and closure layouts free of charge before dispatch. Typical lead time is two to three weeks for standard builds and four to five weeks for span-engineered or OEM-branded orders, with photos and loading records sent before every container leaves the factory.
