FTTH drop cables (butterfly cables) with FRP or steel strength members for fiber last-mile access. Bow-type, flat and figure-8 options, 1-4 cores, OEM made.
The drop cable is the last link between the access network and the subscriber, so bend performance and installation speed decide which construction wins.
Bow-type cable is flat with two parallel strength members and is self-supporting over short spans, which makes it fast to install on building facades. Figure-8 cable carries a separate messenger section in the same jacket and is used where the span is longer or wind and ice load is higher.
Both are available. G657A2 allows a smaller minimum bend radius (around 7.5 mm against roughly 10 mm for A1 at 1550 nm), so it is preferred for tight indoor corners and small wall boxes.
It depends on the fiber grade: G657A1 is typically 10 mm and G657A2 typically 7.5 mm at 1550 nm. At cable level, plan for a minimum bend radius of about 20 times the cable diameter during installation.
Yes. We can supply assembly-ready drop cables fitted with SC or LC connectors in UPC or APC polish, cut to your length with a tolerance of about ±1%.
MOQ depends on the construction and is usually in the range of 10 to 20 km. Short sample lengths are available so you can evaluate stripping, bending and connectorising before the bulk order.
