Simplex and duplex indoor fiber cable from Huifiber: OS2 single-mode and 9/125 micron tight-buffered types, GJFJY and GJSFJY, LSZH.
Simplex and duplex cable is the everyday patch material for connecting equipment to the cabling system. The choice of fiber grade and construction decides reach and cost.
Single mode (OS2) reaches tens of kilometres and has the lowest attenuation, so it is the default for operator networks and long runs. Multimode (OM3/OM4) reaches a few hundred metres over short data centre links, where it lets you use cheaper optics.
Simplex cable contains one fiber and is used where transmission is one-way, such as a PON drop to a subscriber. Duplex cable contains two fibers in a zip or round construction and carries the transmit and receive pair required by active equipment.
We supply 0.9 mm tight-buffered fiber, 2.0 mm and 3.0 mm cable, in LSZH or PVC jacket, with the jacket size chosen to match your connector boots and patch panel strain relief.
SC, LC, FC, ST and MU connectors in UPC or APC polish, including hybrid assemblies that terminate a different connector at each end.
