Indoor Fiber Optic Cables - Product Range

Indoor fiber cables feature flexible tight-buffered design with flame retardant jacket. Easy for routing inside buildings, data centers and offices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Indoor fiber optic cables are built for backbone and horizontal cabling inside buildings, where fire performance and bend radius matter more than mechanical armour.

What types of indoor fiber optic cable do you manufacture?

We produce tight-buffered simplex and duplex cable, multi-fiber distribution cable, breakout cable and ribbon cable, in riser, plenum and LSZH jacket options.

Which indoor cable should I use for backbone versus horizontal cabling?

Building backbone is normally run in multi-fiber distribution or breakout cable because it is pulled long distances and terminated in panels. Horizontal and desktop runs use 0.9 mm, 2.0 mm or 3.0 mm simplex/duplex tight-buffered cable.

Single mode or multimode for indoor installation?

Choose single mode (OS2) when runs are long or when you want maximum future capacity and low attenuation. Choose OM3 or OM4 multimode for short data centre links, where the saving on optics usually outweighs the shorter reach.

What fire ratings do you offer?

Our indoor cables are available with LSZH jackets tested to IEC 60332-1 and IEC 60332-3, and with OFNR riser and OFNP plenum ratings for North American installations.

Which jacket materials and colours are available?

PVC, LSZH, PE and PU jackets are available, with fibre colour coding following TIA-598 for easy identification during splicing.
